Nolan is my oldest son and was 6 years old when Shawn came into his life. He’s always been loving and supportive, and has formed a great relationship with him over the years.
Wedding Party
We knew that our decision to have a destination wedding meant that not all of our friends and family would be able to be with us. For that reason, we are choosing to not have a traditional wedding party and instead have our children along side us.
Zakary Sassaman

Zakary is my youngest son and middle child. He was 5 years old when Shawn came into his life. Zakary and Shawn have not always seen eye to eye, but Shawn advocates for him and gives him advice often. Both know how much they care about one another. The older Zakary gets, the more he realizes they have a lot of common interests.
Violet Smith
Baby of Honor
Violet is our only daughter and the baby of the family. Watching her learn and grow has been a joy for us all!
