FAQs
Do we have to book with your travel agent?
No, please do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Our travel agent can book your trip with no additional cost to you and gives us the benefit of having all of our bookings categorized as a single group, which makes our planning phase easier and may potntially qualify all of us for a group rate with enough participation. She also has many years of experience booking cruises and can answer all of your questions. We would like you to use her, But we won't hold it against you if you'd rather book solo!
Do our rooms have to be near each other?
No, absolutely not! We will be happy to share where our room is with you, but it makes no difference to us what type of room you like and where you wish to stay. We don't have a block reserved because we did not know how many people would be attending.
What events require our attendance?
The first day on the ship we are planning on going out at night as we explore the ship and its bars if you would like to join us. We may split up as a mild bachelor/bachelorette type of event if enough of you would like to come along. The second day while we are at sea is the ceremony. We ask that all of you attend the ceremony and the reception that will be immediately following. The ceremony will be about 30 minutes and the reception is 90. There will be a break after the reception and then we will have group reservations at one of the main dining restaurants for dinner. We do hope that everyone can join us for dinner that night, if you cannot please let us know ahead of time so that we can update the reservation. After that, it's all free time!
Dress Code?
We are not setting a formal dress code for our ceremony, but ask that you come looking nice like you would in a business-casual setting. Sun dresses, khaki shorts, polo shirts and sandals are all acceptable. We would prefer no jeans/tshirts. For dinner the dress code will be determined by the restaurant we choose, but I assume it will be similar. There will be plenty of time to change before dinner.
