Wedding planning is hard. Having two families on completely different sides of the country and planning a wedding isn't fun either. After playing through several options we sat down and had to be very honest with what OUR priorities were. We've decided that what was most important to us was having an adventure. We both love to travel and want to fill our passports with memories. Intimacy and just the ability to enjoy each other's company was our second priority and so the idea of a Weddingmoon was born. By combining both our wedding ceremony and honeymoon we save on the costs as well as achieve what was most important to the two of us. Michael and I will be traveling to several countries that have been on our bucket lists: Spain, Morocco, the Canary Islands, and Portugal. 

We plan to dive into the rich history and fascinating architecture on this exotic voyage from Barcelona. Before departing, we will visit Antoni Gaudi’s masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia, with its soaring spires, organic shapes and gorgeous stained glass. Admire the mix of Portuguese, Arab, Andalusian and Berber architecture in the medinas near Casablanca. Watch whales and dolphins in their natural environment off the shores of Tenerife. And make a visit to Granada complete with an exploration of The Alhambra; the palace and fortress complex is one of the finest examples of Moorish architecture in Spain. We can not wait.
