Let me first start off by saying that Bryan has never really had the "romantic bone" in his body...but has been changing over the years and has definitely surprised me.

If you know me, then most of you know that I worked in property management for many years. Since Bryan and I became friends and then dating we always talked about me leaving property management and coming to work with him in his landscaping business.

Finally, we took the leap in March, 2018 and decided that this was the time. It was my first day of work and of course I was cleaning and organizing everything (if you know me well you know I have to be organized with work-a little ocd about it lol). Bryan came into the office looking all dressed up (which if you know him he likes his "Sunday Best" which consists of a work shirt with his logo on it, work pants and boots) which was not the "typical Bryan". So of course I started asking him where he was going (the inquisitive side of me lol). He then came over to me and swung my chair around. I had no idea what was going on. I then proceeded to ask him "what are you doing?" He then got down on one knee. I still at this point had no idea what was going on. He held out a ring box and opened it and said "will you marry me?" I was in shock! My first response was "are you joking right now"? He then proceeded to say it was not a joke and told me how happy I make him and today was the first day of the rest of our lives. He continued to tell me how we are going to take on the world together and with it being my first day of work we were going to move in the right, positive direction together and this was where we start. He wanted me to be his wife. Both of us of course got emotional and my answer was "yes, yes, yes!" It was not the "traditional" proposal, but it was our proposal and I will remember that moment for the rest of my life.
