  1. During this time Mexico is celebrating Día De Los Muertos. The Day of the Dead is a

Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South

regions, and by people of Mexican ancestry living in other places, especially the United

States. It is acknowledged internationally in many other cultures. The multi-day holiday

focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family

members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey. In 2008, the tradition

was inscribed in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by

UNESCO.

The weather should be awesome. Typically temperatures average in the 80's with slightly

high humidity.

It’s also Halloween so we anticipate the cruise ship being decorated.

Bring your swim suits and Spooky Costumes!

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo San Lucas, a resort city on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula,

is known for its beaches, water-based activities and nightlife. Playa El Médano is Cabo’s

main beach, with outdoor restaurants and numerous bars. Past the marina is Land's End

promontory, site of Playa del Amor (Lover's Beach) and El Arco, a natural archway in the

seacliffs.

As a well-known destination for both spring breakers and A-list travelers in need of a

getaway, Cabo San Lucas has definite vacation cred. The beaches here range in

temperament, from the serene waters of the Sea of Cortez and Playa del Amor to the kickin’

waves of Zippers, a surfing paradise. If you care to romp with locals, head to the coves and

rock formations of the Cannery beaches. Kids will have a blast communing with the local

animals by swimming with dolphins or taking a camel ride through the Desert Park Natural

Reserve.

Puerto Vallarta

Strolling, shopping, and sipping tequila along the Malecon boardwalk of Puerto Vallarta

is the best way to kick off your vacation. Then hit the cobblestone streets of Old Vallarta

eto browse the flea market for handmade crafts. The calm, warm waters of the Bay of

Banderas make for excellent diving, or you can just watch artists sculpt spectacular creations

in the sand. The cluster of fine art galleries in El Centro are perfect spots to hit on a self-guided

art tour.

Mazatlan

It's a historic capital. It's a beach resort. It's a lively, romantic town. Whatever you look

for in a Mexican vacation is on the menu in Mazatlan. Returning travelers rave about the

welcoming Mazatlecos, who treat you like old amigos, as well as the beaches, the food,

the weather, the music and the feeling of never wanting to leave.
