Misty & Jerry met on Match.com after both of them suffered from life-threatening blood clots in their lungs. As odd as it sounds, this shared, near-death experience brought them closer than ever. (They even take the same blood thinners, and always joke they should be on a Match.com & an Eliquis commercial!) When they met online, they began talking on the phone for HOURS! By the time they finally met, at Vintner Grill, in Summerlin, fireworks were definitely going off! They learned that they shared so much in common it was almost scary! (In all the best ways, of course!) For Jerry's 40th birthday, Misty spoilt him rotten with his favorite cheesecake flown in from New York City, and a romantic picnic filled with lots of lovely champagne & delightful treats to nibble on!

Jerry & Misty KNEW they had something VERY special from the moment they started speaking, and they both deleted their online dating profiles moments after their first date. When Jerry was courting Misty, he took all the care in the world to make sure she knew that Jerry was absolutely smitten with her! They enjoyed a "staycation" at The Delano, for Jerry's 40th birthday! Dining at Rivea, was beyond exceptional & Jerry hired a Lamborghini for the evening! Misty had a medical appointment in Los Angeles at Cedars Sinai hospital, and Jerry did everything possible to ensure their first "romantic getaway" was filled with fun and laughter, rather than worry and medical stuff. Jerry is an old fashioned gentleman whom opens the car door for Misty all the time and constantly does little, yet very thoughtful, gestures to show her how much he loves her. Misty's parents, Mike & Renee', actually always comment on how much Jerry & Misty's relationship reminds them of their relationship; Mike & Renee are celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary in October!
