We met in high school in Mr. B's 4th period science class, and I swear Denzel forgot his textbook on purpose! Almost everyday he would ask to use mine and this boy "Kimani" would offer Denzel's his book instead! HaHa!! Eventually we spoke and he would call me "Ms. North" and I would call him "Ladiesman123" because each time I saw him he was with a different girl!! :-O Long story short, he invitied me to go watch him play basketball.....and I stood him up.. oops! He tried again and asked me to the movies and this time I showed up! We watched "Harry Potter" in the Regal Theaters. This was the day we shared our first kiss, either in the movie or in the parking lot..we were both too busy being "wooed" to remember ! 

Moving on, we offically became a couple on August 17th, 2011. Denzel showered me in the most beautiful, heart written poems and flowers, it was my little fairytale. He was the sweetest person I had ever met and his has the biggest heart. It was hard not to fall in love with him. He has made my world so bright and meaningful. 

Flash forward 3 years, we both went on to college together at Florida International University (FIU). Eventually, we were lucky enough to move in together and grow together as a couple. Living together has really been the best part of our relationship because I miss him always!! 

Now my "11:11" wishes are coming true and I get to marry the man of my dreams!

The Bride 

You know we have this saying between us, "It all started crazy fast but we'd never change a thing." Our relationship has always been fast paced because time has flown.  I feel like I found the woman of my dreams yesterday but it has been almost 6 years now. I never really quite understood what love meant but having met here I got a better idea of what it meant to me. Many people don't know how complex love is but the ancient Greeks did. They imagined 8 types of love but I only knew love as "Kirstie" and for that I am grateful. To me home is where the heart is, and if I have my other half with me then I am home.

The day I decided I wanted to marry her I came up with a plan of how best to profess my immense love to her and ask her to be mine for eternity. I thought of how she, my princess, my world and my happiness could be surprised so that not even her family could anticipate such a notion. However before our cruise on the Escape, I called her family and informed them of my intentions and from that day I knew it was time.

On August the 17th 2016 I asked Kirstie Nichole North to be my wife and partner forever and asked her if she was ready to pursue life's most prestigious journey together with me hand in hand, side by side and she said yes. I have never had so much joy in my heart.

Kirstie and I are ready to embark on life's most prestigious journey together and we are extremely grateful that we have the opportunity to share it with you as one of the close members of our family and friends.
