Ally and Cory met doing Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre on tour.  The couple played across from each other as Trish Fish and Lou Zar in the show "Crime and Punishment".  As their acting skills grew, so did their friendship.  They became regular show partners, then best friends, then it led on to so much more.  Today, Ally and Cory have been legally married since May 30th, 2020, the original pre-pandemic date.  However, now it is time to throw the wedding they should have had all along! 

Ally and Cory began planning their wedding nearly three years ago.  They're presently the longest running couple in the Bakers Ranch Wedding clients. Ally and Cory fell in love with the venue when they first saw the chapel doors scene on site. 

In March of 2020, the world was struck by a global pandemic that threw a wrench into so many exciting events.  In only six weeks, the couple had to cancel their wedding, and plan a backyard ceremony.  On the hottest day of the month, Ally and Cory legally became husband and wife in only the presence of the foundation of their support systems, their loving families. The couple longed for the wedding they'd dreamt about for so long, and mourned the change in plans for many months after. 

On August 23rd, 2020, the couple welcomed their first child into the world: a baby girl named Marlee Jade McElwee.  Marlee has been the light of their lives and the highlight of the entire situation.  She began the family that Ally and Cory have dreamed about, and they plan on more children one day. 

Finally, 19 months after the original date, a wedding is happening!  They are SO excited to have you all and cannot wait to share our love and celebrate our growing family with the extended support system.  Thank you so much for sticking with us through our sorrowful rescheduling, and continuing to support us when it is safe again.
