Hello! We are Sofi and Julio, a young couple from the southernmost tip of Chile, and we have decided to pledge our love and loyalty to each other for as long as we both shall live. We are immensely happy to take this step and embark on the wild adventure of a honeymoon like this one (Sofi has never even traveled to another country before—exciting, right?).

We are both restless souls with a deep love for adventure. Our paths crossed in a church choir, and from there, our friendship blossomed through our shared passion for sports. We were both members of a basketball group and a trekking club. It was through these activities that we really got to know each other and learned the true meaning of friendship. Over time, our friendship naturally evolved into a beautiful relationship, and eventually, we realized that this was the love we wanted to cherish until death do us part.

Sofi is concluding her lengthy medical studies (set to finish in November). She adores nature, sports, music, and reading (a particular fan of Harry Potter). Julio, having recently graduated in musical composition and instrumental arrangements, works at a school three days a week and dedicates the rest of his time to his music (you can check out his work on Spotify or Apple Music under "Julio Cañas" - give it a listen!). He also enjoys reading, and we both share a deep appreciation for Christian spirituality.

Though we have much in common, we think it's amazing how well we complement each other with our differences: a scientist and an artist. Sofi is organized, while Julio is a bit scattered; Sofi finds studying challenging, while Julio is remarkably disciplined.

We're tying the knot on December 28th! (And we promise it's not an April Fool’s joke) and we couldn't be happier. The idea of honeymooning on a cruise was spurred on by some of our family members. Everyone tells us this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip and truly worth investing in. However, the cost is, admittedly, a bit daunting. After booking the cruise, we discovered that there's a culture of supporting 'honeymooners,' which led us to give this a try and reach out on this platform.
