On our way to attend family Christmas on December 24, 2018... he got down on one knee with his mother's ring and proceeded to nervously ask the question she had been waiting on forever it seemed.  A few tears and laughs came along with the answer "yes." Then they both went to visit a local jeweler a few weeks later to decide how to place the stones from the ring into a brand new original design for the bride to wear for a lifetime.
