Bride

People say you meet someone special when you're not looking and that definately happened to me. Little did I know that when I planned the Alaskan cruise as a high school graduation present for my son, Ben. that it would be more than one last great mom and son vacation before he headed off to college. Kevin and I met on the ship in Vancouver before we even left port to begin the cruise. I had no idea that the nice cute guy with a drink in his hand would become not only a great fun companion during that 7 day cruise, but my future husband! That was on July 28,2012......the day God had our paths cross and my life has never been the same!  The picture is our 1st one together in Alaska.

So now 4 years later, with lots of late night phone calls, long plane flights, 1,000's of Frequent Flyer Miles and wonderful adventures together, Kevin and I made our cross-country relationship work and I can't wait to marry my best friend, biggest supporter, my rock - Kevin! Since we met on a cruise, we thought what a better way to have our story come full circle than get married on a cruise. So on August 8, 2016, (8/8/16), on a Hawaiian cruise along with our boys, in Maui, Hawaii, Kevin and I will begin the next chapter of the rest of our lives togther as husband and wife! I'd like to thank all of our friends and family for all the support you gave Kevin and I over those 4 years. We couldn't have gotten to where we are today without each of you! Since we can't be together, we hope you say a little prayer for us on our wedding day and give us your blessings for a wonderful marriage and many happy years together. Please follow us as we post pictures from our wedding and honeymoon!

Love you all!

Groom

When I embarked on my Alaskian cruise in the summer of 2012, I had just started a new job, purchased and moved into a new home, and was preparing for the start of another school year with my 3 sons (Kyle, a senior, Mark ,and Neil both sophomores). I had been looking forward to this trip as a chance to unwind and relax. So once I got on board, I decided to grab a boat drink and then head to the deck of the Princess Saphire to enjoy a fine sunny day and the Vancouver skyline. On my way to the deck, I noticed this Nordic Princess taking in the same view I wanted to enjoy. Our paths crossed on the deck of the Princess Saphire, and from that moment on, my life had changed! We struck up a conversation, and as the old cliche goes, The Rest is History!

Our cross country relationship led to many late nights on the phone for Lorrie as we talked the nights away when our schedules kept Lorrie in Atlanta and me in San Diego. We got together whenever we could, and we grew together a as couple through our commitment to one another. It is often said that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but in our case; absence led us to be closer (even closer than if we had been neighbors). If we couldn't be together physically, we were determined to be together emotionally and spiritually! And now with my Atlanta move to be with my future bride; we have the total package: not only the emotional and spiritual connection, but now we get to enjoy each others presences the rest of our lives!

And since Lorrie handled our first picture together, I thought I would handle posting our last picture together to date: Father's Day 2016 at Top Golf in Alpharetta, GA! Thank you Lorrie for a wonderful Fathers Day gift!

Bless you all!
