Bride

Wayne proposed on Christmas of 2015. I had stayed over his house so we could wake up and have Christmas morning together. We woke up like little kids and ran upstairs in our pajamas to open gifts together with his mom.

I drank my coffee and poened presents and had a great time watching everyone else open theirs. Then lastly Wayne handed me a pretty big box. Inside that box was another box. And another. At this point I think I asked if this was the best gift of all: DISAPPOINTMENT, as Wayne and I would tease eachother about gifting an empty box.

Finally I got to a small jewelry gift box and I felt my stomach get butterflies. In my head, I thought, oh! He got me earrings!

When I opened it and saw a GORGEOUS diamond ring staring back at me, my inner monologue said "Don't freak out! This might not be THE ring!"

I looked up at Wayne and he was smiling, and he got down on his knee and started to propose to me, crying. His mom started crying. I started crying and just saying Yes of course!

Then I tried to push all the other gifts out of the way so I could kiss him, and I believe I said "Do your job!" as I thrust the ring at him to put on my finger.

It was the most beautiful Christmas gift I could ever ask for, in my koala feetie pajamas!
