Josh proposed to Katie on a beach in Oregon infront of family on July 30th 2016.

Backstory to how Josh proposed from Katie's perspective.

We had discussed getting engaged but Josh had said he was saving up money for the ring and wouldnt be able to afford one until End of Summer/Fall. He went as far as applying for a Kay Jewlers credit card. All the while he had already purchased the rings. While driving down for our Vacation to the sand dunes in Oregon he went as far as to mention when we got back from vacation we should go look at rings to see which one i might like. So of course while we are in Oregon i see a Jewlery outlet that sells the ring i wanted (the Ever Us diamond which he got! lol) I told him if we were going to look when we got back we might as well go look while we are here (No SALES TAX), he was very off and said he didnt want to (of course i had no idea he had a ring already). He finally said okay lets go tomorrow at 5pm (fulling knowing we wouldnt because he would propose before then). The morning of july 30th comes i go into town with his mom run some errands and we need to get back to came as soon as we can "because we told the kids we would go to the beach". Afternoon sets and we are going to the beach! I was told i would be the last taken down there "because someone had to stay with the camp" LOL. We get down to the beach and I have cell service! Romance killer i start to look at emails! LOL. Josh says that everyone is waiting to take family pictures so come on put the phone down. I head over to where his sister Brina is casually taking pictures of the girls. Then all of a sudden his sister Kenzie and Niece Shelby Roll out this HUGE 5ft long banner that says Katie, Will You Marry Me? and i turn to look at josh who is down on one knee with a ring! I was so surprised i cried and took the ring! It was pointed out about a half hour later i never actually said YES!.
