After the Best first date ever at the Roger William's Zoo Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular in 2014 with Brian (where I fell in love when he asked if I wanted to do the swan boat ride <3), we've been back every year. Knowing for a while I wanted to propose, the idea of a carved pumpkin proposal popped in my head as something Brian would love with Halloween being a favorite holiday. After 3 years of hapiness & our 4th visit to Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular around the corner; I emailed the zoo just to see if it was possible and all of a sudden it was really happening. They were very excited to help me carve the pumpkin and display it at the end of the show. After I asked not to include any 'girly' desgins, they asked me what he liked and of course "Guns N' Roses" was the first thing to come out of my mouth. The guy loved the idea, and went for it. Our visit in 2017 was amazing!  Brian took his sweet ass time checking out every single little pumpkin face to get inspiration his own halloween display. With my anticipation already on high I started shaking when I spotted "the pumpkin" a mile away. Brian didn't see it until we were right ontop of it, and if it wasn't his name associated with his favorite band that made him realize it was really for him than it was definately my tears.  I couldn't actually get any words or the ring out since my hands were busy wiping my tears. After his clear shock and "is this for real?" moment; he pulled me aside to calm me down and said "Yes". :)
